TAKE ACTION

 YOUR ACTIONS CAN BENEFIT

 THE LIVES OF THOUSANDS

 OF CHILDREN IN TANZANIA

JOIN THE PROJECT

The Morningstar Foundation is constantly looking for dedicated supporters and volunteers in our fight for universal education. There are several ways in which you can join the project:

  • Donate. The easiest way to contribute to the Morningstar Foundation's efforts is to donate, whether online or at one of our fundraisers. As Orkeeswa School continues to grow and implement improvements in key academic areas, additional capital investments are needed to accommodate its expanding student body.

  • Host an information session. Spreading the word about the ongoing education crisis in Tanzania is another great way to raise awareness.

  • Start a club. Most of our team initially got involved with the Morningstar Foundation through clubs started by Derek, Kevin, or Michael at their schools.

  • Volunteer at one of our events. The Morningstar Foundation hosts many fundraisers and information sessions throughout the year, for which volunteers are needed. Contact us for more information.

  • Volunteer at Orkeeswa Secondary School. Orkeeswa Secondary School is looking for bright, motivated volunteers to join its staff in Tanzania. More information can be found at IEFT's site.

One of the main ways in which the Morningstar Foundation spreads the word about Orkeeswa Secondary School and the work the school is doing in promoting universal education is by talking to people at our fundraisers.

But you don't have to be at one of our fundraisers to spread the word about Orkeeswa; you can do it from your living room, a park, a local school, or practically anywhere else when you host an information session about Orkeeswa Secondary School. If you are interested in hosting such an information session or would like help in coordinating your information session, feel free to contact us.

The Morningstar Foundation and the Indigenous Education Foundation of Tanzania (IEFT) aim to break the cycle of poverty by providing education to the most vulnerable youth in rural areas. Together, we target bright, motivated and economically disadvantaged youth who would not otherwise have access to secondary education. A quality education allows students to graduate with a high school diploma and the knowledge and skills which will allow them to become leaders in their community, and pursue employment opportunities that would otherwise have been out of their reach.

Unfortunately, our website does not have a valid way to donate online as of now, but if you would like to contribute, please visit and donate at IEFT's site and help make a difference today.
